Community Outreach
STSDS is committed to taking dance beyond the traditional studio and theater environments. In addition to creating new dance works and the next generation of dance artists, we are committed to expanding dance and arts awareness in our community. Our aim is to encourage the appreciation and understanding of dance as an art form and to introduce the many different forms of dance including ballet, contemporary, hip-hop and others. Charity Services | Are you hosting a charity event or celebrating a special occasion for which dance would be the ideal compliment? Our Community Outreach team will be dedicated to put our creative energies at your disposal with dynamic, festive shows specifically designed to meet your needs. A perfect blend of emotion, creativity and athleticism will make your event an unforgettable experience! |
Partnering With Schools | We believe in education through the arts, so it puts a high priority on working hand in hand with area schools to enrich the lives of area youth. Each year, we offer performances for local community events and to area schools in the form of master classes, creative workshops and informative lecture demonstrations. Our intent is to encourage the appreciation and understanding of dance as an art form and to introduce the many different forms of dance. |

Schools Dance Program
Our School Program is an incredible, fun, exciting, innovative way to keep your kids moving and grooving. We believe the discipline of dance training gives young people a better understanding of commitment by offering them the chance to learn, experience the spirit of teamwork, and understand what hard work can accomplish. Students will not only be taught to dance, but they will also be tested on such things as origination of dance, timing and others. Programs can be run in-doors or on any outside sealed surface. We can organize a personalized classes or one day workshop to meet the particular needs of your school group. All programs are conducted on your school premises meaning there are no travel costs for your students and no time is wasted. They will learn:
• Creativity and Self Expression through Music and Dance
• Building Self Esteem and Confidence
• Timing, Rhythm, and Motor Skills
• Team Work, Co-ordination and Listening skills
• Introduction to Perfroming Arts and more...
